Project Description:

The Town of Summerville is requesting $66,500 in Urban Greenbelt funds as reimbursement for the purchase of 0.52 acres located off Butler Street in Ladson. The parcel is adjacent to Gahagan Park, a community park that offers both active and passive recreational opportunities for residents and visitors. Acquiring the parcel will allow the Town to expand the park, preserve additional public greenspace, and meet growing community demands for recreation, outdoor amenities and gathering spaces.
